United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) - Fiftieth Session

The 50th session of the Commission on the Status of Women will consider the following two themes:
Enhanced participation of women in development: an enabling environment for achieving gender equality and the advancement of women, taking into account, inter alia, the fields of education, health and work.

Equal participation of women and men in decision-making processes at all levels.

Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) which are accredited to, and in good standing with, the Economic and Social Council are eligible to designate representatives to attend the CSW Session. Invitation letters to above mentioned NGOs were sent out in September 2005. Eligible NGOs are invited to submit to the Division for the Advancement of Women the pre-registration form listing their representatives no later than Friday, 30 December 2005.
