Dear Colleagues;

The CCSD has recognized the importance of the Canada Social Transfer for several years. In 2004 we published a discussion paper proposing a four point agenda that would strengthen the CST as an important social development tool.

Recently, CCSD President Marcel Lauzière and Chairman Wayne Helgason wrote to Prime Minister Harper to remind him of the key role social development plays in this country.
